While I didn't try the regular margarita, I'm going to say I think the $2 more for this one was money well spent. It was a truly excellent margarita, and I now want tajin rims on all future margaritas. I can't believe I just made it to Livery for the first time last week! I mean, I love Cunningham restaurants, and I've been seeing everyone's amazing photos of delicious food from here for years.anyway, so glad I finally came! Everything was delicious and service was fabulous! I started off with a Carriage House margarita with a tajin rim and it was wonderful. In the summer it's an open patio and in the winter it can be enclosed with heaters turned on for a comfortable outdoor experience in colder temps.

Pro tip: If you can and it's nice outside, request to sit on the upstairs balcony when you set a reservation. Even if you're not a big dessert-with-dinner person, a trip to Livery isn't complete without churros with their caramel dipping sauce. I recommend their classic drinks like the Carriage House margarita or rotating seasonal cocktails like the Fireflower or 'Off With Their Heads' from their current menu. The cocktails are also some of my favorite in the city. The menu is all wonderful, but their specialties such as these are really what make Livery shine. My favorites dishes are the corn or queso empanadas, paella, red drum, and skirt steak. On your birthday or anniversary, then even give a special treat to make the night memorable. It's great for celebrations, nights out with family/friends, or a romantic date night. Livery is great value for what I feel is a pretty high-end experience. Since then, I've returned time and time again to what has become my favorite restaurant in Indianapolis (their downtown location in particular).Īnd what makes it my favorite?! They consistently deliver amazing experiences and delicious dishes that are elevated.
